Productivity-Fu abstract and resources
Abstract
Software development and the Ruby world move at a furious pace. How can you find time to write code, learn new things, build your skill set, and keep an eye on the big picture? What separates the mythical “super-productive” 10% of programmers from the rest?
In this wide ranging talk, Rob will discuss the relationship between productivity, effectiveness and efficiency, and what it means for developers today. We will establish principles for increasing your effectiveness, eliminating distractions, and making better use of your time. We will learn how concepts from positive psychology, modern management, agile and GTD come together to increase your productivity and make you a happier, better programmer.
